Tweet STORM
Thursday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m.- noon
On Feb. 22, 2018, the Mississippi Child Care Coalition and supporters from across the state will converge on the steps of the Mississippi State Capitol to make our voices heard about the importance fully funding Mississippi Department of Human Services’ Child Care Payment Program. There are currently only about 17,000 children being served by this important safety net program that provides low-income working parents with child care vouchers so they can go to work. Full funding this program would mean another 21,500 children who are on the waiting list could be provided these important services as well.
We’d love to have you standing with us on the steps of the State Capitol, but if you’re unable to join us, you can still help us spread the word by raining down our message online during our simultaneous TWEET STORM.
